Applicants

How do we use this information?

The way we use the information also varies depending on the level of engagement. Here is how we use the information:

  • Communicate with you - in order to get in touch with you about our news and to respond to your queries
  • For internal review during recruitment and assessment - the information collected is necessary to recruit new members, as well as constantly review and assess progress. The information is never passed on to external parties and is used for continuous improvement.
  • To provide certain services - using information such as your name, email and role might be necessary to be used in external platforms to enable access to certain services
  • To provide measurement and analytics - related to our website traffic, behaviour and audience for statistical purposes and in order to improve the experience on our website and provide data to partners and sponsors.

How is this information shared?

By default, information collected is not publicly or externally shared with the exception of:

  • Team members whose name, role, picture and in some cases email and links to personal profiles (such as LinkedIn) will be published on the team page.
  • Information regarding a partnership, sponsorship, agreement or collaboration that we have engaged in and both parties have agreed in sharing such information through post on this website and other social media accounts.
  • Statistical usage information which can be shared publicly

Where is the information stored?

Information mentioned above is stored on servers of our hosting provider based in the US, on servers of our analytics provider based in the US and/or the EU and local secure storage based in the UK.

In cases where information is stored by us, we do our best to make sure the information is kept securely. 

Data rights under the GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data. By default all information collected is kept for at least 5 years.
